130UnionStreet.com – Please explain it to me!
A quick summary of 130UnionStreet.com, what it is, why we do it, and how it can help..
Hausmann & PROTEAM add to our Social Media: Foursquare & Gowalla..
[tweetmeme source=”130unionstreet” only_single=false http://www.URL.com%5D
That’s right, we’ve added locations for both lines. If you’re in the area, stop by and check-in for some goodies. Random giveaways each day: Footstools, weights & dumbbells, tell us what you need and we’ll see if we can handle it.
What we’re really trying to do is get people involved. As I have taken on the role of implementing our Social Media strategy, I am looking for ways to broaden our reach across as many platforms as possible, without over-extending ourselves while doing so. I think we have found a good balance with Twitter, Facebook, Blogs, LinkedIn & YouTube..and now ‘location-based’ media with Foursquare & Gowalla.
How do you stay involved? Let us know in the comments, or contact us directly. We’re always looking for ways to take customer feedback and make an impact. Have a new product idea, want to participate in our Advisory Panel? We’re taking a pretty aggressive approach to this new media, and can’t think of a better way, then to have our customers and colleagues involved. Contact us today!

Hausmann Industries – New Products & Advisory Panel
Hausmann Industries would like to invite you to participate in an exciting new program we have recently launched, that gives you greater control of the products you use everyday. We are interested in getting your feedback on current & new product ideas and are forming an Advisory Panel of various professionals in the Medical and Athletic Training field(s).
We will be meeting with a group of Certified Athletic Trainers at the 2010 NATA show in Philly. We welcome anyone who would be interested to stop by Booth #1241 to discuss this opportunity to provide feedback and input on New & Existing products.
We have formed a LinkedIn Group to open the conversation and will provide more details once the program gets going. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have and we thank you in advance!

The Growth of Social Media [VIDEO] (thanks Mashable)
In the Mashable post earlier today I learned the following:
“Did you know that if Facebook was a country, it would now be the third largest country in the world? It passed the U.S. earlier this year and is now eclipsed only by China and India in terms of raw population. That mind-boggling statistic — along with a few dozen more — are showcased in the video below, demonstrating social media’s explosive growth in recent years.
The video, produced by Socialnomics author Erik Qualman, is a follow-up piece to his original social media stats video from last summer. While some of the stats are similar to last year’s version, others are updated with new figures and some appear for the first time. Information about the sources for all the statistics are available on Qualman’s blog. A few of the highlights include:
More than half of the world’s population is under 30.
Facebook tops Google for weekly U.S. Internet traffic.
Ashton Kutcher and Britney Spears have more Twitter followers than the populations of Sweden, Israel, Switzerland, Ireland, Norway and Panama.
50% of mobile Internet traffic in the UK is on Facebook.
During the 4+ minutes it takes to watch the video, more than 100 hours’ worth of video will be uploaded to YouTube.
Amazon sold more electronic books for the Kindle than physical books on Christmas.
If you were paid $1 for each posted Wikipedia article, you’d make $1,712.32 per hour.”
As always, you can find us on Twitter, Facebook, etc. Enjoy the weekend!
Summer’s Almost Here..4/29/10
Good morning,
It’s been a couple days since we last posted and I though I would post a couple bits of info that I have found over the last couple weeks.
We had the opportunity to attend a great seminar yesterday at Bergen Community College, hosted by the Paramus Chamber of Commerce, with New York Enterprise Report, @NYReport, Constant Contact and Bumblebee Design & Marketing, @MardySitzer as our speakers. I picked up a couple of good notes and we are considering looking into using Constant Contact for our upcoming email marketing campaign. As always you can follow us on Twitter: @130UnionStreet and @ProteamTables.
In other news, both of our hometown baseball teams won last night, with NYY beating BAL 8-3 and the NYM beating LAD 7-3. Great job boys!!
Now, who can’t think of the summer time when you talk baseball? The schedule is looking really good, with some exciting games lined up for July and August. But when you’re not in the mood for baseball, how about a movie? Thanks to Screenrant and Celebritology for the link, here’s the 2010 Summer Movie Preview in 2:32..enjoy! Until next time, namaste!
